CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED AND PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND
The industry definition of a group exercise class is 8-22 participants. At Wayside Athletic Club we require a minimum of 5 pre-register participants to run each class. Our classes will meet in the Main Studio, Cycling Studio, the Indoor or Outdoor Pool, or paid small group training in the Wayside Performance Center. Our Group Exercise schedule offers everything from Barre, Yoga, Cycle and Core, Boot Camp, Active Older Adult Aerobics, Zumba, Muscle Conditioning, Water Fitness … and much, much more. Classes are scheduled daily and are taught by a member of our professional staff.
POP UP CLASS
Pop-up classes are classes offered to people to expose them to new exercises. The intent of hosting a pop-up class is to encourage people to consider making changes in their current approach to fitness and try something new.
Pop-ups are offered when there is a new instructor, fitness class, or fitness system or style.
REGISTER FOR CLASSES
Wayside Athletic Club has transitioned to a new software program called Club Automation. This change will greatly improve our processes as a club and will only improve your experience at Wayside Athletic Club. One of the advantages the new software brings is the ability for you as a member to log in online to view your profile. You will be able to log in to our website at wayside.clubautomation.com By accessing the website, you can reserve courts, update your information, register for classes, reserve indoor lap lanes, pay your bill, and much more. A minimum of five participants must sign up for a class for it to run.
Please log in to the Online Portal and set up your account. To access your profile, navigate to https://wayside.clubautomation.com/
Click “Access my account” to set up your username and password. You will need to have an email address on file.
You can also search the app store or Google Play Store for “Wayside Athletic Club” . Once you have downloaded the app please use the same username and password you used to access the member portal.
GROUP EXERCISE CLASS REGISTRATION
CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY
Members can pre-register for classes through the app or online portal seven (7) days in advance. There is a minimum of five (5) participants required to run each class. If you can’t make a class please unregister within 6 hours of class to avoid a $10 charge ($15/nonmember). If you do not show up for class a $10 charge ($15/nonmember) will be placed on your account.
SNOW & INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Our group exercise schedules could change based on instructor availability and club hours due to weather conditions. When wintry weather is happening or in the forecast, be in the know about possible changes by:

All programs and classes will be held or canceled on a case-by-case basis.
If there is severe weather, Wayside Athletic Club may declare a late opening or cancellation of classes. Wayside will try to make the decision as early as possible so members and staff can plan accordingly. Notifications will be made via the website, text message, email, and/or social media. Notifications of canceled or delayed classes will be made no later than one hour before the scheduled class.
